How quotes work
A FlyVerto quote is a written price for your banner campaign, built on an independent operator's written price. Here is what it covers, what it does not, and what happens if the weather says no.
What a FlyVerto quote is
We send a quote only after an operator has given us a written price for your campaign. Every quote is laid out line by line:
- Creative: design help, if you asked for it.
- Banner production: letters, or a printed banner.
- Transport and storage of the banner.
- Operator flight package: the flight time the operator bills.
- Time over your target, shown against total flight time.
- Photography, if you asked for it.
- Coordination.
- Taxes and fees, where they apply.
- Total, validity, deposit, and the weather, reschedule and cancellation terms.
Total flight time includes the trip from the operator's airport to your area and back. Time over target is the part spent where you asked. We show both, so nothing is hidden in one number.
What a quote is not
A quote is not a promise of an audience, a number of views, a route, a time window or a flight.
What we control, and what the operator controls
What FlyVerto does
- Helps you shape the message and the creative.
- Sources independent operators and gets you a written quote.
- Coordinates artwork approvals, production and timing.
- Reports back on what flew.
What the operator controls
- The aircraft, the pilots, the insurance and the FAA waiver.
- Whether a flight goes, including weather and airspace. The operator makes the final call.
- The route and the time window, which they confirm after you accept a quote.
What this means for you
Dates, areas and windows on this site are requests. A flight is confirmed only after a written quote, your approval, and the operator's acceptance. We never promise an audience size.
How long a quote is valid
Each quote is valid for 14 days from the date on it. After that, ask us to refresh it.
Deposits
If you accept, we ask for a deposit before we commit anything on your behalf. The deposit is sized to cover what the operator and producer cannot get back once booked, such as a printed banner made for you. The amount is stated in your quote.
Flying your banner again
When we store your banner and it flies again unchanged, you are not charged for production a second time. If it needs a repair or a remake, that is its own line in the new quote.
Weather and airspace
The operator decides whether a flight goes, on the day, for weather, airspace or safety. If a flight cannot go, your quote already says what happens to the date, the deposit and the banner. Those terms follow the operator's own written terms.
Cancellation
You can cancel a campaign by telling us in writing. What comes back to you depends on what has already been committed, such as production started or a flight slot held, and the quote states it by date. The operator can cancel or postpone a flight for weather, airspace or safety at any time. FlyVerto can decline a campaign before it is confirmed, for example if no operator accepts it.
Artwork approval
Nothing goes to production until you approve the final artwork in writing.
The delivery report
After the flight, we send a report with:
- The date and the times actually flown.
- The route and time over your target, with transit shown separately, from the operator's records or tracking where available.
- Photos or video, if you bought them.
- Anything that was not delivered, said plainly.
The report never includes an audience or view estimate.
Who you are dealing with
You deal with FlyVerto. Operators are independent companies that fly under their own FAA waiver and insurance. Until a campaign is confirmed, your quote says "operator on file". The confirmed campaign and the delivery report name the operator.
